Those masterful Scots are back again and this time they’re featured on The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 1 soundtrack with a new track “Dead Air”, the soundtrack was curated by the talented Lorde and looks like an absolutely stunning collection. The soundtrack will include the likes of Bat For Lashes, Miguel, HAIM and even a pinch of Kanye. I can just see our heroine Katniss running for her life or perhaps faltering ever gracefully into the arms of her man as this emotionally sexy Dead Air is being cued by CHVRCHES.
Soundtrack or not, I feel this track by CHVRCHES would have been a success on its own. The nostalgic 80s synth and constant yearning tone in the vocals is more than enough to get me from start to end with this track and even hoping there will be hundreds of remixes to indulge in as well. Excellent stuff, excellent stuff… please do us a favour and subscribe to the CHVRCHES Youtube channel, I am shocked that their count is not higher – spread the gospel kids!
